Behold the new artwork for my book, The Silver Alchemist.
This is Sky Andor. He's a native of the planet Undarli, which was annexed by the Mydians three decades before the start of the story. His father, Edo, makes an appearance in my previous novel, Final Flight of the Ranegr. Take a look at that here. The Mydians have soldiers called Alchemists, who through technological augmentation possess telekinetic powers.
But Sky! He has them naturally.
The jacket he wears has a symbol on the back - the three circles you see in the background beside him in the picture. To his people, it is a holy symbol. But to the Mydians, it represents elemental silver. Thus, they call him The Silver Alchemist. His journey leads him across a galaxy thrown into turmoil by an invasion of interlopers determined to erase all existence. Sky will have to confront not only monstrous demons of destruction, but his own inner demons, and face a truth to this universe more horrible than anyone can imagine.

Full disclosure, the character artwork was AI generated based on several days worth of prompts. Still didn't get it quite the way I wanted, but it's a damn good effort. The background is a royalty-free starfield, but the mural is 100% my own artwork, including the hieroglyphs around the inner circle. I'm far better at caligraphy than the other visual arts.
So I took the image I generated with ChatGPT of my character, The Silver Alchemist. I put it into Kling AI, with this prompt:
Running through a bio-mechanical forest, the crescent shape of a gas-giant planet looming in the sky overhead. His eyes glow with increasing brightness. He roars, "I am the Silver Alchemist" and unleashes the energy in his hand.
All I can say is, Wow. I was not expecting it to turn out so well. I'm going to look into using this to produce more content.

I started building the world of The Silver Alchemist way back in primary school ... a journey of nearly three decades! It's been a long trip of starts and restarts, and most of the handwritten notes are in this box.
Don't worry, there's mountains more digital notes and ideas and papers on hard drives scattered around my house.
And thus begins the task of digitising them for my Patreon and SubscribeStar supporters.
